We emphasize that Fr. Míceál has been since its origins, and for many years, a member of the Executive Committee of the Carmelite NGO of the UN, and one of its mentors there by 2001. His active commitment to justice, peace and the integrity of creation has always been a hallmark of its service to the Order and the Church.
