In the context of Season of Creation, last Friday, September 11, the conference shared by Dr Xavier Pikaza and Dr Eduardo Agosta Scarel, O Carm, on “Ecology, Bible and Spirituality”, took place in the “Santa Catalina” Conference Room of the Old Cathedral of Salamanca.

We share here the text of the conference given by Fr. Eduardo, “From Pandemic to Climate Change” where he reflects on lessons learned in the midst of the coronavirus Pandemic and that can help us to anticipate climate actions to face the crisis of Climate Change.

The conference was organized by the Diocesan Social Pastoral of Salamanca and the Carmelite NGO and sponsored by the World Catholic Climate Movement.

For this Season of Creation, the Carmelite NGO offers brief texts to reflect on the integral care of the Common Home:

“From Pandemic to Climate Change”, por Eduardo Agosta Scarel.

“An Expanding Spirit of Democracy”, by Mary Evelyn Tucker.

“An Ecumenical & Interfaith Perspective on Social & Ecological Justice”, by Chris Durante.
