Fray Eduardo Agosta Scarel, was invited by the Dicastery for the Promotion of Integral Human Development to participate in a study day, “Theory and practice of development”, in light of the teachings of these Encyclical Letters and, especially, of Caritas in Veritate (CiV). The day was held on December 3, 2019 at the Casino Pio IV, headquarters of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, in Vatican City.
The set of all the presentations of this seminar formed a special publication of the Dicastery for Christmas time. Cardinal Peter K.A. Turkson presented the work as a Christmas gift to Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI and Pope Francis on Christmas Eve.

Eduardo shared his experience in the task of promoting justice, peace and the integrity of creation from the CiV, with a brief presentation entitled 10 years from Caritas in Veritate: “by their fruits you will know them”, which appears on the page 115 of the event publication.
