Climate change of human origin due to the burning of fossil fuels is undoubtedly the main challenge facing humanity today (Laudato Si ’25). Together with it, there is also the general deterioration of the environment due to the impact of human activities on oceans, soils, air, lakes and rivers.
In 2012, the NGO Carmelita published its Position Document on the topic of Climate Change and the Environment in a framework of integral human development.
