United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)

The Carmelite ONG is affiliated to the UNFCCC.
The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is an international environmental treaty (also known as a multilateral environmental agreement).

The objective of the UNFCCC is to stabilize the concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere at a level that avoids dangerous anthropogenic interference with the climate system.

As an officially affiliated member of the UNFCCC that it represents on the issue of sustainable development, Carmelite ONG can grant access to several of its members to observe the COP negotiations. They can attend sessions and exchange opinions with other participants, including delegates.

This participation allows the vital experience, knowledge, information and perspectives of civil society to be incorporated into the process to generate new ideas and approaches.
